Coastal Resilience is a program led by The Nature Conservancy to examine and plan for nature’s role in reducing coastal flood risk and adapting to climate change. The program is designed around an online mapping tool that supports communities around the world who are conducting hazard mitigation and climate adaptation planning.

Coastal Flood Exposure Mapper
The Coastal Flood Exposure Mapper is a NOAA online visualization tool that supports communities that are assessing their coastal hazard risks and vulnerabilities. The tool creates a collection of user-defined maps that show the people, places, and natural resources exposed to coastal flooding.

The CRS Green Guide features best practices and success stories derived from interviews with CRS communities earning top scores for CRS elements that preserve or enhance the natural and beneficial functions of floodplains (Funded by NFWF Hurricane Sandy Coastal Resiliency Competitive Grant Program).

- How to Map Open Space for CRS Credit provides a step-by-step approach for earning this credit (CRS Activity 420) in areas that are already protected, and identifying places where additional credit could be earned through future preservation efforts. It also provides templates and worksheets to compile verification information.
- GIS Workflow and Mapping Guide is a companion document to the How to guide, is designed for GIS professionals who are assisting a community with mapping eligible open space preservation credit using GIS data and software.
